Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Chiang Rai

• Arrive in the city at any time and transfer to Hop Inn Chiang Rai.
• Walk to a local restaurant to participate in a welcome group dinner and trip meeting.

Day 2: Chiang Rai - Chiang Kong (L, D)

• Morning:
  •  Walk across the street for breakfast. Pack up and get ready for cycling.
  • Visit Rai Chen Tawan international meditation center. About 25 km away from the city. 
  • Continue cycling to Phaya Mengrai and to Talad Nam Rong Bia- a flower market(open on Saturday- Sunday).
• Lunch: Enjoy a nice Lunch at a local restaurant.
• Afternoon:
  • Continue the trip to CBT Ban Nam Ma in Chiang Kong district.
  • Meet the host upon arrival and check in to the homestay.
  • A village walk tour with a hands-on activity(making rice straws paper).
  • Dine on a delicious local dinner.

Day 3: Chiang Kong - Chiang Saen (B, L, D)

• Morning:
  • Get up early and enjoy a light lunch at the homestay.
  • Start cycling along the Mekong river via Chiang Kong city. Includes several climbing of hilly roads.
  • Stop whenever you need rest/drink/snacks.
• Lunch: Stop for lunch at CBT Ban Had Bai
• Afternoon:
  • Pack your bike and get on a van to Chiang Saen. 
  • Check-in at a local resort/ optional accommodation stay at CBT Ban Tha Khan Tong.
  • Explore Chiang Saen's old town and take part in the hands-on activity "Eco Print".
  • Dinner will be prepared by the Chiang Saen community enterprise group.

Day 4: Chiang Saen - Mae Chan (B, L, D)

• Morning:
  • Breakfast at a local market. Continue cycling along the Mekong River.
  • Visit the Big Golden Buddha by the river.
  • Visit the Opium Museum and continue on to CBT Ban Pang Ha.
  • After a short break for refreshments continues on to the Mae Sai Border market.
  • Stop at Tham Luang where the 13-body incident took place.
• Lunch: Enjoy a nice lunch at a local restaurant.
• Afternoon:
  • Continue cycling to a local resort. Check-in free at leisure.
  • Visit the famous tea plantation at Rai Cha Chui Fong.
  • Enjoy the tea tasting.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner together at a local restaurant.

Day 5: Mae Chan – Chiang Rai (B, L, D)

• Morning:
  • Breakfast at the local market.
  • Our cycling route will go through the Black House Museum, hot springs, Wat Rong Seau Ten "the blue temple, and end at Wat Rong Khun, the famous white temple.
  • Total cycling distance: 55 km.
  • Optional cycling is split into two routes. The tour can end up at Hop Inn hotel Chiang Rai and then take an afternoon visit to the white temple and end at Singha Park.
• Lunch: Tasty lunch at a local restaurant.
• Afternoon: heck in at Hop Inn Hotel Chiang Rai.
• Evening: Enjoy dinner and beer at Singha Park 

Day 6: Departure

• Transfer to Chiang Rai International Airport.
